Our Paint Sticks make us proud every single day but our pride excelled to the next level recently!
It’s official! Paint Sticks are helping those children that have special educational needs and we’re proud that they are helping children be the best that they can be!
Children that have to live with developmental disabilities such as Autism and Asperger can sometimes get frustrated during playtime so we were over the moon to find out that Paint Sticks were recently awarded a GOLD WIN in the category of best toy for children with special needs at the Independent Toy Awards of 2017!
Our sales and marketing director, Lara, was of course over the moon and she had this to say…
“We are ecstatic that Paint Sticks has been awarded another award!
“Each award win is a fantastic achievement for the brand but we are particularly proud of this win in the Special Needs category and also in such a high profile awards like the Independent Toy Awards!
“The win really does highlight how Paint Sticks can contribute to the development of a child and as Paint Sticks twist up and down, adaption and control is easy meaning children of all abilities can release their creativity allowing different avenues of communication.
“Paint Sticks allow for a range of learning experiences with the versatile nature of the product and the different techniques that it offers. Allowing children to paint without the mess associated, this is a specific advantage for children within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) sector as it means no paint will get on hands, clothes or surfaces.”
And we’re pleased to say that it’s not just the award judges that think Paint Sticks are great! We also teamed up recently with a parent blogger who let her lovely son Harry, who is autistic, get creative with the Paint Sticks and she wrote a great review proving that each stick really does help children be the best that they can be!
